I founded KC Behavioral Consulting in 2023 after working in the disability and education fields for almost 10 years.
Originally I earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University then returned to school in 2019 to complete a master’s degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis through Capella University. I have worked in the private ABA field since 2018 supporting children with disabilities and their parents in the home, community, clinical, and school settings. I am a Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst (LABA) in Washington State and also hold a Level 5 certification in Skill Based Treatment for Severe Problem Behavior. I again returned to school in 2022 to complete an Ed.S in School Psychology through Eastern Washington University and am on track to complete the program in June 2024 to hold a National Certification in School Psychology. I’m passionate about providing services and connections within my Spokane community. And I know first hand the importance of bridging the gap in services for families as I am a special needs parent myself…my work is not just a job to to me. I have a mission to give back to my community in the same way that the Spokane community supported my own child.
Hi, I’m HAnnah Flaherty.
I’m Serina Fleming.
Originally from a rural town in Indiana I embarked on a journey to Washington STATE in 2016.
My first job in Washington was as a Home Care Aid for a child with autism. Working in that role for four years before transitioning into ABA, I learned how inaccessible providers and resources for rural families are. Since then, my passion and mission has been to provide equitable access to services for those in need. In 2020, I attended Eastern Washington University where I received my BA in Children’s Studies. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. After receiving an ADHD and ASD diagnosis, my work became more, it became personal. My calling is creating environments where individuals, regardless of their challenges, can find support, understanding, and opportunities for growth.
Hi, I’m Hillary robbins
My professional journey is deeply rooted in a commitment to supporting and teaching children and families through some of their most challenging times.
I first learned of applied behavior analysis while practicing in the field of social work, supporting foster families and foster children. These families faced overwhelming challenges and sought assistance for behaviors that interfered with meaningful relationships and engagement with their communities. Witnessing the unique challenges and complexities these children and parents faced, I was driven to make a tangible difference in their lives, but the level of support needed was greater that what I could offer at that time. It was then I met a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who introduced me to the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA). I completed my Masters of Art in ABA in 2019 and have since focused on empowering children and families facing daily life struggles with evidence-based interventions that catalyze positive change.
Throughout the years, I have encountered many stories of resilience, perseverance, and hope within the families I have had the privilege to serve. These experiences have deepened my empathy and strengthened my resolve to provide ethical child-first and family-first ABA therapy. Each day presents new opportunities to make a positive impact, and I am grateful for the privilege to walk alongside individuals and families on their journeys toward empowerment and self-discovery.
Parenthood is a journey filled with joys and triumphs, but it also comes with its fair share of struggles and uncertainties. As a compassionate advocate, I stand alongside parents to offer guidance, resources, and evidence-based interventions to effectively address their child's behavioral challenges and encourage positive outcomes. I firmly believe that every child deserves a nurturing environment where they can thrive, learn, and discover the world around them. My personal inspiration can be found in my three children, who serve as a daily reminder that parenting is an opportunity for growth, learning, and unconditional love.
